Virtual Public Policy Committee

The focus of July’s meeting will be on the proposed fee changes in the Town of Sahuarita. Staff from the Town’s Planning and Development Services Department will provide a presentation to attendees and will be available to answer any questions. 

Some highlights to be discussed include:

• Standardization of all per-hour fees to $80/hour.  Where there had been a minimum number of hours (usually 4), that minimum hour has been set to 2 for all such fees.
• Significant changes are being proposed to rezoning fees, specific plan fees, sign fees, and conditional use permit fees.  Though less common, bridge plan fees have also seen some significant reworking.
• There’s a number of single-line fee increases (as opposed to the multiple lines necessary for things like rezoning and specific plans)
