Monthly, MPA hosts a breakfast open to members and future members. These informative and educational breakfasts can be presentations, panel discussions, debates or forums. Topics cover relevant issues of interest to our community, as they relate to the land use and development industry. This event typically draws 80-120 attendees and is an ideal way to interact with community leaders, elected officials and colleagues.

Relationship Building & Breakfast: 7:45-8:15AM

Presentation, Q & A: 8:15-9:00AM

Our February Breakfast presentation will be provided by Heath Vescovi-Chiordi, Director of Economic Development for Pima County. Heath will be reviewing the County’s draft comprehensive plan, focusing on the County’s efforts to expand upon their Economic Development strategies as outlined in the draft plan.

The Pima County Comprehensive Plan 2015 update, Pima Prospers, addressed sustaining and
advancing the county forward in three key areas: economic development and growth,
environmental conservation, and community health and well-being, encompassing individuals,
families, neighborhoods, and the multi-national community. Pima Prospers celebrates and
capitalizes on the county’s unique diversity, culture, arts, and natural beauty, while supporting and protecting growth and prosperity for all county residents, present and future. And it is these exceptional and irreplaceable natural, cultural, and heritage attributes that contribute and bring value to growth and prosperity in the county. The Pima Prospers 2025 update has a ten- to twenty-year planning horizon. The update identifies future construction, facilities, and infrastructure needs.
