Monthly, MPA hosts a breakfast open to members and future members. These informative and educational breakfasts can be presentations, panel discussions, debates or forums. Topics cover relevant issues of interest to our community, as they relate to the land use and development industry. This event typically draws 80-120 attendees and is an ideal way to interact with community leaders, elected officials and colleagues.
Our October Breakfast presenter is Mike Ortega, Executive Director of the Pima Association of Governments and the Regional Transportation Authority (PAG/RTA). Mike will be updating MPA Members on the proposed $2.7 billion RTA Next transportation plan—a 20-year regional investment heading to the ballot in March 2026. Attendees will gain insight into the plan’s priorities, funding strategy, and how it builds on past lessons to deliver on voter commitments and shape the future of mobility across our region.
