Heath will be reviewing the County’s draft comprehensive plan\, focusing on the County’s efforts to expand upon their Economic Development strategies as outlined in the draft plan. \nThe Pima County Comprehensive Plan 2015 update\, Pima Prospers\, addressed sustaining and\nadvancing the county forward in three key areas: economic development and growth\,\nenvironmental conservation\, and community health and well-being\, encompassing individuals\,\nfamilies\, neighborhoods\, and the multi-national community. Pima Prospers celebrates and\ncapitalizes on the county’s unique diversity\, culture\, arts\, and natural beauty\, while supporting and protecting growth and prosperity for all county residents\, present and future. And it is these exceptional and irreplaceable natural\, cultural\, and heritage attributes that contribute and bring value to growth and prosperity in the county. The Pima Prospers 2025 update has a ten- to twenty-year planning horizon. The update identifies future construction\, facilities\, and infrastructure needs.
