Heath will be reviewing the County’s draft comprehensive plan\, focusing on the County’s efforts to expand upon their Economic Development strategies as outlined in the draft plan. \nThe Pima County Comprehensive Plan 2015 update\, Pima Prospers\, addressed sustaining and\nadvancing the county forward in three key areas: economic development and growth\,\nenvironmental conservation\, and community health and well-being\, encompassing individuals\,\nfamilies\, neighborhoods\, and the multi-national community. A brief Bio is below: \nMichael Racy heads the lobbying and government relations firm of Racy Associates\, Inc.\, a Tucson based public policy and government relations firm representing private and public clients before all levels of government. Mr. Racy has over 30 years’ experience in the government relations field and represents a broad range of southern Arizona based businesses and public entities as well as numerous state and national corporations and associations. In front of the Arizona State Legislature\, Mr. Racy and his firm has been the primary lobbyist on a diverse range of issues including redistribution of sales and gas tax\, transportation\, business taxation\, aviation\, budget and many many others. \nAdditionally\, the firm maintains a significant practice in real estate development and represents a number of master planned communities and commercial developments and developers in southern and central Arizona.
