The RTA Plan approved by voters in 2006 runs through 2026.  Come learn, from Jim DeGrood of the RTA, about the RTA Next planning effort, which is beginning to identify priority areas for the next RTA Plan and give the RTA your input!

Mr. DeGrood is Deputy Director for Pima Association of Governments (PAG) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA).  He is a Professional Engineer, and a graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Civil Engineering.  Mr. DeGrood has over 30 years of local government management and public works experience, including serving as Town Engineer for the towns of Oro Valley and Sahuarita, and as Assistant Town Manager for Marana.

Mr. DeGrood joined PAG in 2007 to oversee the programming and operations of the $2.1 billion, 20-year Regional Transportation Authority Plan.

 

 

This is the monthly meeting of MPA’s Public Policy Committee. At this meeting attendees hear presentations from the local jurisdictions, updating them on code and process changes.  Committee members are invited to assess proposed policy and make recommendations on policy positions discussed by the committee to MPA’s Board of Directors.
