 MPA's Common Ground Celebration recognizes the process of community building, as well as outstanding projects and collaborative processes. Projects do not have to be completed to be eligible for recognition. Emphasis is placed on collaboration that is atypical and falls outside of the normal day-today processes of our respective workplaces. Identifying stakeholders, inviting broad participation, finding new ways to address challenges, and developing workable solutions are all criteria that will be used to evaluate entries. Metropolitan Pima Alliance (MPA) is soliciting applications for the fourth annual Common Ground Awards Celebration. The MPA Common Ground Celebration is a community-wide event recognizing leadership in the collaborative process and dialogue among private business, government, nonprofit organizations, citizen groups, and individuals who contribute to sound community planning and development within metropolitan Pima County. The 2008 Common Ground Celebration will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008, 6:00 PM, at the Marriott University Park. |
